We present an easy version of a drink found on our latest drinks list. Designed as a party-sized premix that's bursting with essence associated with festive period, which makes it ideal for your holiday party. Any leftover citrus syrup you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or for another batch of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 guests
To make the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
For the Cordial: Combine the listed ingredients in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the burner and let it to cool down completely. Pour to a clean bottle, cap it keeping it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for around one month.
For the Batch Mix: Combine all the liquids into one big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain best through a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
To serve: Measure 85ml of the batch mix into a mixing glass packed with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter to a chilled martini glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the drink.
